Barton lightweight lazy jack kit allows mainsails to be easily reefed and stowed by retaining the sail between lines running from the mast near the hounds to the boom. These lines can be slackened whilst sailing to avoid restricting sail shape.

The Barton leightweight lazy jack kit is ideal for smaller boats. This ‘all-rope’ kit features bartons unique block covers and is intended for lightweight use. This Kit is not designed to take the full weight of the boom and we therefore recommend that the topping lift be used.

Kit comes complete with sufficient high quality braided line, all fixing and fastenings together with compressive fitting instructions are also included. Barton do not recomended their lightweight kit is used on larger boats with fully battened sails, and that use of topping lift is retained.

Kit Contains:

• 2 x block assemblies (including block covers, line and eye for attaching to mast).
• 1 x Adjustment line (Line and eye for attaching to boom)
• 1 x Cheek block (To fit to boom)
• 1 x Curved backing plate (For use when fitting cheek block to curved boom)
• 1 x Cleat (To fit to boom)
• 2 x Eyes
• Rivets and machine screws
