This hatch is suitable for most open canoes and can be used at either or both ends of the canoe. With an approximate 25L capacity and a weight of only 3.4kg, it really is the ideal place to keep your valuables stored while paddling.
This hatch includes a heavy duty hook and eye strap to attach to the canoe or it can be bolted through the top (silicone or rubber washers would be needed to seal bolt holes). The hatch has a rubber seal making it perfect for storing anything you want to keep dry. The canoe storage hatch is made from heavy duty roto-moulded polyethylene which is approximately 6mm thick.
