Isotherm Classic GE80 Kit

Compact Classic is a fan cooled compressor unit designed for simple installation in existing top or side-loaded refrigerator boxes.

The unit is designed for do-it-yourself installation and comes complete with all parts and components required.

To simplify the installation, the system is split into two sections, the compressor / condenser unit and the evaporator. These sections are joined together by a flexible pipe fitted with quick-coupling connections, which can be easily connected and disconnected repeatedly without loss of refrigerant.

To achieve good operating results, the following is essential:

- The refrigerator must be well insulated. Use polyurethane or similar foam 30 mm (1.25inch) thick for 50 litre (1.8 cu.ft.) boxes, 50 mm (2inch) for boxes up to 80 litre (2.8 cu.ft.) and 100 mm (4inch) or more for larger boxes.

- Battery capacity should be at least of 75 Ah to enable sufficient power to be stored during engine operation.

- All the electrical power supply equipment such as alternator, regulator, cables, connectors and batteries must be kept in good condition.
