Vtronix Lift & Lay VHF 1m SS Whip Antenna
The Style 5247-A is a base-load antenna with a heavy-duty, 36" stainless steel whip that lifts - and - lays down, out of the way for fishing, trailering, boat covers, or storage. Its element is a sealed, tin-plated copper wire coil in a sturdy metal canister.
For unobstructed fishing or trailering, the antenna's whip can be easily folded out of the way. Simply grab the whip by its upper ferrrule and lift. Do not pull on the whip itself. Then fold it over at its hinge point, so you can lay it down. Lift it and snap it back into the upright position when needed.
